Rib knit cuff gives gentle fit, tucks into socks, and keeps pant leg from riding up. Can be worn as a pajama bottom, outer layer, or under layer. Alpaca is warmer and softer than lambs wool, machine washable, and odor free. Flexible design. Ribbed or jersey knit option.

These seemed expensive but they stretch and we have used the same pair now for two years. Well worth the investment. And they are hand knit and warmer and softer than wool!

I've just ordered two more pairs of the jersey knit woolen pants. After two boys wearing our size 4T tan pair as nighttime over-pants then as casual sweatpants, our first pair still looks great but they are outgrown. I am delighted I can order these for my kindergartener and also his big brother. Woolly pants are the best under snow or rain pants since the kids stay warm even if damp! My kids prefer alpaca to merino since it is less itchy, though we wear both. I think the alpaca is easier to care for, even over washable "activewear" merino. I just wish for an unembellished zip front hoodie to match these pants--our school doesn't allow pictures on clothing and the button-front cable sweater is less appealing to my boys.
