Cultural Note: This yarn is hand spun by the Kayawalla people. They have their own language, though many also speak Quechua and Spanish. The Kayawalla are Bolivia's traditional healers. For over 5,000 years members have traveled through the Andes Mountains administering cures and medicines. The Kayawalla's alpaca herds are tended in the community homelands high in the Andes Mountains. This yarn is from Kayawalla communities.
